Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011); spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for the field of political communications, serving as press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign.
