Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to quit the show in May 2021 to start Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has guest starred on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her political interest to the fact that she was a mother during 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US elections during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe the effect it had on the citizens of Jordan and gained an appreciation for the worldwide reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 2015. She created the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
