Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actor from America. She is best known for her starring role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The show ended after its seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated to a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and family therapist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI who was a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has publicly declared her Jewish heritage and said that she takes part in Passover seders.
